Social Media and ePR Specialist works in synchronization with the rest of the Social Team and internal marketing teams to improve visibility and engage the online community to interact with the content of our brands’ social network profiles in a given country.

Main Tasks

Social Media and ePR Specialist is an operative on a mission to:

  • ideate, create, adapt, and distribute different types of content on selected social networks on a daily basis, based on insights and research;
  • to enter into dialogue and moderate discussion on each brands’ social profile with close attention to brand values and tone of voice; to redirect conversation and customer inquiries to appropriate Consumer Advisory channels as necessary;
  • to handle and administer, curate and create win-win relationships with relevant influencers to the benefit of our brands.


  • Managing orders, planning activities and implementing a strategy on social network channels (50% of the time);
    • Manage particular L’Oreal brands’ profiles on all social networks and suggest the establishment of new communication channels;
    • Post and moderate content, communicate and enable discussion with and among users on these social channels;
    • Activate users, expand the number of followers in the community, achieve interaction and perform activities in line with overal marketing and communication goals for each brand;
    • Help design, create and implement always-on organic campaigns to increase the overall awareness and recognition of our brands on social networks;
    • Monitor the assigned brands’ social network profiles, tracking comments, timely response to all user questions and increasing interaction with them, using Sprinklr as an intermediary management layer.
    • Identifying relevant influencers, reaching out to them and designing interactions to increase the number of followers on all social networking channels;
  • Creation and regular delivery of reports to management with data on community activity on all social networks (15% of time)
    • Monitoring and analytics of user activity;
    • Reporting on KPIs for which the employee is directly responsible
    • Turning user suggestions and criticism into actionable reports for creative and communications;
    • Help ideate and conduct research on user satisfaction regarding our activities on social networks and proposing improvements based on results obtained after research.
  • Handling of all influencer activities in a given geography (35% of the time)
    • Performing research and helping with influencer selection, as per briefs and projects from marketing teams
    • Handling the process of screening, approval, briefing, production monitoring and delivery for influencer activities
    • Developing trusting, win-win relations with influencers; attending and helping organize appropriate events and activities designed to raise the profile of our relationships with influencers
    • Careful monitoring of the influencer landscape, timely information gathering regarding potential issues, crises and changes in the social and/or technological landscape that could influence our brands’ activities;

Performance Criteria

The success of the Social Media and ePR Specialist will be measured through:

  • Constant community expansion on social networks, as defined by KPIs;
  • Better interaction with the auditorium, as defined by KPIs;
  • Positive user reactions on content on social networks, as defined by KPIs.

The main parameters for the success of the Junior Social Media Manager are:

  • Acquiring trust from the Internet community;
  • Deepening the credibility of our brands to social network users;
  • Spreading the influence of our content on social networks and beyond.

Experience and expertise

  • The ideal applicant should have prior experience in managing social networking orders.
  • A university diploma is preferred (journalism, political science, social sciences, media and communications, marketing or some related faculties);
  • Minimum 2 (preferably 3-5 years) of experience in a professional work environment on social networks and successful management of social network tasks;
  • Experience in monitoring and interaction with users on social networks;
  • Ability to plan, implement, and measure the impact of everyday activities and campaigns on social networks;
  • The skill of writing and conceptualizing innovative ways of transferring content from the portal to social networks;
  • Understand and learn from the best examples from practice and closely monitor current trends and changes on platforms and tools relevant to working on social networks;
  • Experience in the cosmetics or fashion industries is a plus but not a necessary prerequisite.

Technical and professional skills

  • Deep understanding of all social networking platforms – Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
  • Working with Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, and any others is a plus;
  • Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills in English and one other language – Serbian, Croatian or Bulgarian;
  • Strategic thinking, analytics, creativity, discipline, networking, reporting, tracking and comparing with competition.
